I'm getting one. I currently have a copy of Wipeout 2097 here that I bought
right when released, and do not have either the PPC or 3d hardware required
to run it. amiJoe will satisfy at least one of those requirements, then I
just have to wait for either the Paraglide to actually happen or someone to
make a 2d/3d card for the amiJoe's PCI connection.
I also plan to get Heretic II, Shogo, SiN, Freespace, Nightlong, etc. as I'm
very happy that some software is coming our way, and can't wait to have some
new games to play again. My 060 and no 3d card either won't run this stuff at
all, or won't do real well, and I'm hoping that a decent PPC card will make
some difference in that. And I'd like to support a company that has the guts
to even attempt supporting our platform with some spiffy gizmos.
